Hi Everyone!
I am very excited to be your culture chair for this school year! I really look forward to putting on cultural events that will help bond our Iranian community at UCLA and have fun while indulging into our beautiful culture! I was a member of ISG last year and made so many friendships that I truly cherish, so I'm excited to help you do the same! I love reading Hafez, Rumi, and Saadi poetry...I grew up in a very cultured home, which has sparked an interest in learning about various cultures and ethnicities! I am an Environmental Science Major with a Geography Minor, so I am really interested in world cultures, and how they impact the global community. I am also active in other organizations on campus, including Sigma Pi Sigma and a Geographic research group, so if those are of interest to you feel free to contact me! :)
