April 3rd, 2010 - ISG 4th Annual Fashion Show
ISG will be putting on its 4th Annual Fashion Show on Saturday, April 3rd, 2010. The show will be held at the Ackerman Grand Ballroom in UCLA and will feature Keemia Ferasat, whose work has been in magazines such as Elle, as well as upcoming designers, Siamack Tehrani, Alexandre Dorriz, and a few other student designers. There will also be refreshments, food, a DJ, and surprise star appearances by Iranian celebrities to ensure an incredible night.
Given the magnitude of such an event, it is very difficult for a student group such as ISG to fund the production without outside help and support. Hence, we encourage everyone to help and contribute in his or her capacity for this amazing cause. If you are part of a company or organization, or you personally would like to help us fund this event, please contact us at ISG@UCLA.EDU and we will send you an advertising request form to fill out and return back to us.

October 10th, 2009 - Up Close and Personal: Iranian Filmmakers Film Series
The Archive and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present a series of new and recent Iranian films in conjunction with the planned visit of a group of prominent Iranian filmmakers to Los Angeles. Screenings will take place at the James Bridges Theater on October 9, 10 and 11 and the Academy’s Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood on October 15 and 16. Additional Information: Click Here

No drastic changes have been to the website except that the poll has been removed. We hope that you are coming back often to visit our site and keep an eye out on events being hosted! If you look at the events section you will see a section called "Featured Events". Gallery has been slightly updated with more pictures to be added.

UCLA's Iranian Student Group now has a new website address in addition to the current one. You won't have to update your bookmarks but you'll be glad to know that it'll be easy to remember our additional address: UCLAisg.com. In the mean time check out the new calendar installed in the events section.
